Through our partnership with ISO Association Australian Textiles Manufacturing Malaysia Sdn Bhd and Life Line Clothing Malaysia Sdn Bhd we are glad to announce that both companies are now offering Carbon Offset Certificates to their clients and to the community. As a used textile recycler and processor, every week both companies save tonnes of carbon from being released into the atmosphere.

Using a sophisticated algorithm, they calculate and verify the carbon emissions its clients and partners are offsetting. They are the first recycling facility in Malaysia offering this chance.

To further Australian Textiles Manufacturing Malaysia Sdn Bhd and Life Line Clothing Malaysia Sdn Bhd's commitment to the environment, they are the only ISO-accredited textile waste collection and processing services in Malaysia. Although it is not compulsory to obtain this certificate to operate in Malaysia, we teamed. up with them due their ethics and belief in transparency.

Every year a group of auditors accredited by the Department of Standards Malaysia will visit their factory to ensure they are doing what they can to reduce their carbon footprint.

ISO 14001:2015 is intended for use by an organisation seeking to manage its environmental responsibilities in a systematic manner that contributes to the environmental pillar of sustainability.

Part of the requirements to obtain the certificate is for Top Management to demonstrate leadership and commitment to the Environmental Management System (EMS) and identify the

organisational roles, responsibilities, and authorities that will be present in the EMS. This also includes the definition of the Environmental Policy that will act as the overall goal of the EMS. This policy must include a commitment to prevent pollution and to comply with all legal requirements to which the company is subject.
